Facility rules:
· The doors will open at 7:00 AM. Gold Crown staff will be there earlier, still it is necessary that the doors remain locked until 7:00 AM. There are several security and set-up measures that need to be taken care of before the doors are opened.
· Parking guidelines- Parking on Harlan Street is illegal. It is illegal to park in bike lanes or block driveways- even partially. Parking is available at the Field House Lot, All Star Park Lot and the Martischang Plaza. Martischang Plaza is located south of Alameda. Do not park in the neighborhoods.
· Due to space limitations inside the building, Gold Crown cannot allow food/buffet tables to be brought into the facility. Also, crock-pots and other home cooking devices will not be allowed within the facility; however, we do encourage groups to set up and enjoy their community food on the sidewalk just east of the main entrance. Due to heath regulations, no other cooking items will be permitted INDOORS. Gold Crown will have an operating concession stand within the facility. In short, ALL food preparation and distribution must take place outside the building.
· Gold Crown will tolerate food and beverages inside the gym area, but only foods that create little, if any, mess will be allowed. Foods such as chili or spaghetti will NOT be allowed in the gym. However, sandwiches, nachos, etc. will be allowed.
· Coolers are NOT allowed in the facility. They are welcome, but only outside the facility.
· Gold Crown asks that you, the team, and the fans refrain from bringing metal-legged chairs inside the facility. The metal can scratch and severely damage the floor. Chairs with Rubber-bottoms are allowed however. Bleacher seating is provided.
· We ask that gum is NOT brought into the facility. It is incredibly difficult, if not impossible to clean off the floors.
I understand that these requests may be different when compared to other facilities, but I assure you that they are only made with the safety of the participants and fans in mind. They are also in place to ensure the longevity and upkeep of Gold Crowns facilities.
