The 4th annual food drive to benefit Community
Food Share was held Sunday, December 4th,
2011 and the result was incredible! Parent,
players and spectators brought 745 pounds of food!
Thank you for your remarkable generosity! Bromley
Heights Charter School collected several hundred
pounds of food as well. Our goal of 1000 pounds of
food was reached and even exceeded!

Flatirons Volleyball Club will be
running the Monarch Gold Crown teams for 2012.
Gold Crown is a program for 6th, 7th and 8th grade
girls. The teams are divided according to the
local high school they will feed into. The
competitive season begins the first of October and
consists of two matches per week, typically held
at the Gold Crown Foundation Facility in Lakewood
on Sundays. Detailed information can be viewed at

is required before any participation in Flatirons’
open gyms, clinics or tryouts. You may register

Flatirons
Volleyball Club players participate in both single and
multiple day tournaments. Competition is fun as well as
rewarding; a chance to build character and team spirit.
Being part of a Flatirons team is a great way to develop
sportsmanship and give each player the opportunity to
experience the power of ten athletes working together to
obtain unity through a common goal.

National Qualifier
Tournament Schedule
Flatirons National teams compete in one
or more out-of-state tournaments. These 2-3 day
tournaments provide an invaluable competitive and team
experience. Plus they are fun and generate a lot of
enthusiasm in the players.
2012
Girls' Junior National Championships
The Girls' Junior National
Championship is a ten day event that attracts nearly
8,500 athletes annually. The tournament will crown 19
champions in age divisions ranging from 12 to 18. The
competition draws not only thousands of family and
friends, but hundreds of college recruiters looking for
the next top players for their programs.
The site
for the Junior National Championships is Columbus, Ohio
at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The
championship tournament will be held from June 28th
through July 7th.
